Welcome to the Website of the Society for Educational Studies
Membership of the Society is open to:
- Persons resident in the United Kingdom who are or who have been professionally engaged in study and/or research in Education and who support the aims of the Society;
- Persons resident outside the United Kingdom, who are invited to become members by the Executive Committee;
- Persons who were members of the Standing Conference on Studies in Education.
These are:
- Free subscription to the British Journal of Educational Studies, (including online access);
- Free online access to British Journal of Educational Technology, Curriculum Inquiry and Educational Theory.
- Discounted rates for SES conferences and seminars;
- Access to small research grants through a fund available only to members;
- A discount of 25% on journals and books published by John Wiley & Sons.
